About Rob
I co-founded Kalavasta with John in 2017 with a clear ambition: to contribute to a sustainable society by 2050 by tackling what we believe are some of the toughest and most essential challenges this transition demands. Since then, we have immersed ourselves in the energy, materials, and agri-food transitions, exploring their technological, economic, and policy dimensions. It is the kind of work that requires grappling with complexity and uncertainty, and that challenge is precisely one of the things that draws me to it.
What fills me with pride and energy is how our small, close-knit team of truly talented and motivated people consistently punches above its weight, delivering substantial impact where it matters most. There is something special about working alongside people who are as deeply invested in a mission as you are, making it as fulfilling as it is energising.
