Secil is a Transition Consultant at Kalavasta. Her background is in molecular life sciences and neuroscience. Before joining Kalavasta, she conducted research about gene therapy approaches to Alzheimer’s disease at the Netherlands Institute for Neuroscience. She holds an MSc in Molecular Mechanisms of Disease from Radboud University Nijmegen with a graduate research project at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory New York. She obtained her BSc in Molecular Biology and Genetics from Bilkent University Ankara with an undergraduate research project at Stanford University California (high honor). Having lived and worked in four countries, Secil has strong international experience. She aims to use her research and analysis skills to help create a more resilient society, which is why she joined Kalavasta.
